Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday Morning we offer open access surgeries. Reception opens at 8.30am and any patient who arrives in the surgery before 10am will be seen by a doctor working that morning. Unfortunately, we are unable to book open access appointments on the telephone.
On arrival patients are given a time for their appointment and can then choose to either wait in the surgery or leave and come back in time for their appointment
Please note we are unable to offer patients their choice of Doctor at these sessions. Patients who wish to see a specific GP can book a pre-bookable GP appointment.
Pre-bookable appointments can be booked up to two weeks in advance. Patients are able to choose which GP they wish to see in a pre-bookable appointment.
Our appointments become available daily on a rolling 14 days basis and can be booked online, in person at reception or via the telephone.
Did you know you can book your appointment online?
Using online services makes it more convenient for people at our practice, as there’s no need to make a phone call or visit us. Computer, smartphone or tablet users can make or cancel an appointment at a time that suits them, even when the practice is closed.
If you are not already registered for GP online services please let a member of the practice team know you would like to use this service. You will need to complete a sign up form and show two forms of ID.
Patients can see a Practice Nurse by pre-booking an appointment in advance. Please contact reception to book an appointment.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer online booking of Practice Nurse appointments as appointments with the Nurse vary in length depending on the reason for the appointment and this function is not currently available on our online access website.
Please cancel any appointments you are unable to attend. This ensures the appointment can be booked by a patient who does need to see a GP.
We had 74 appointments last month that were not attended or cancelled. This equates to over 12 hours of wasted GP and Practice Nurse time in one month and costs the NHS over £175 million each year.
