Out Of Hours
Who to contact when the surgery is closed
We are open 8am to 6.30pm via telephone and 8am to 6pm in person at our reception desk.
Our out-of-hours service is provided by NHS 111.
If you require urgent medical assistance call 111 or alternatively you can go online at 111.nhs.uk
NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for any medical help which is needed fast, but is not a 999 emergency. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.
For many problems telephone advice may be all that is needed, but if it is decided that you need to see a doctor, then you will be asked to attend a GP On Call Centre.
Self Care
Many things improve by themselves, or with the right advice.

Local Pharmacist
Your local pharmacist will offer consultations and provide advice and treatment for a range of minor illnesses. You can even get â prescription for certain conditions with the "Care at the Chemist" scheme. They are also trained to recognise the warning signs of more serious illness and will be able to suggest you see your doctor.
Walk-In Centres
The Walk-in Centres provide consultations, advice and treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, examples include: minor infections and rashes, stomach upsets, superficial cuts and bruises, strains and sprains, coughs, colds and flu-like symptoms. Also provided is emergency contraception and advice and Chlamydia screening for under 25's.
